Lasse saw the light of day in 1980 and started out directing a couple of short, narrow and quirky art films in 1997. He quickly moved on directing, photographing and editing his first music video, short to become one of the most hunted promo directors in Denmark.

Besides directing Martinussen has participated in playing, writing and producing music on more than 15 albums for different artists in both Scandinavia, UK and US. From time to time he also composes music for his own films.

In 2008 Lasse signed in with BACON CPH and started directing his first commercial work.
He is currently continuing his work with both music videos and commercials, and additionally began working on his first actual short film.

Martinussen's sense of creating strong visual concepts is outstanding throughout his works. By understanding the depths and the power of visual and artistic effects Lasse takes the audience inside memorable, unexplored worlds.
